First Congregational UCC (FCUCC) is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley and is a long established, theologically liberal, ONA, Just Peace congregation.  FCUCC has a strong tradition of embracing and promoting diversity and social justice issues. We are seeking an associate pastor who will have a primary focus on faith formation throughout the lifespan, and engage children, youth and families in the life of the church. The associate pastor will partner with the senior pastor for pastoral care and visitation, worship and community outreach. 
The associate pastor will also have the opportunity to preach at least monthly.  Salem is both the state capitol and home to Willamette University, with an abundance of recreational opportunities in the surrounding area.  Salem is one hour from the coast, the mountains, and the vibrant cities of Portland and Eugene.  See if our church is the right fit for you.
