Committees

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees cares for and has custody of the church's property and the legal and financial affairs of the church.
Acting Chair is Dick Francois.

Deacons Committee

The Deacons Committee assists the Pastor(s) in providing for the worship life of the church and parish care for the congregation. Deacons are divided in two groups: Worship and Parish Care.
Chairs are Connie Irwin (worship) and Susie Francois (Parish Care).

Christian Education Committee

The Christian Education Committee provides lifelong learning opportunities and experiences to help from members' identity as spiritual beings living in relationship to God and others; by fostering understanding of the sacredness of life, our connection to creation, and the commitment to learn and follow the values and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
Chair is Bev Pratt.

Mission and Outreach Committee

The Mission and Outreach Committee shall be responsible for mission outreach in the local community, the conference, and beyond.
Chair is Don Lundberg.
Meeting day for the remainder of 2011 is the first Wednesday of the month at 5:45 p.m.
In 2012, M&O will meet on the first Thursday of the month at 5:45 p.m.

Welcoming Committee

The Welcoming Committee shapes the church's welcome and response to newcomers.
Chair is Vern Madison.

Peace and Justice Committee

The Peace and Justice Committee educates and involves the congregation in issues and actions that promote peace and social justice.
Chair is Lewis Littlehales.

Community Committee

The Community Committee develops lay leadership by fostering opportunities for the congregation to share fellowship, to nurture friendship, and to build a sense of community.
Chair is Mesheal Heyman.

Search Committee

Our Search Committee was appointed by Moderator Erik Anderson after the retirement of our Senior Pastor, Reverend Gail McDougle, to discern the needs of the congregation and to present to the congregation a candidate for the position of Senior Pastor.
Chair is Susie Francois.
