In youth group, we deepen faith by connecting the teachings of Jesus with our everyday lives. Youth group covers a diverse curriculum including UCC identity, peace and justice issues, Christian belief and practice, and religions of the world. Through conversations, activities, field trips and service trips we build connections with each other, with the church, and in the larger community. We also have a lot of fun!
Mid High (6-8th grade) meets every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Our first theme is “What does it mean to be UCC?” and will run from 9/16-10/28. Lori Ensign, Shelley Wagener, and Sara Rosenau will be leading this theme.
Senior High (9th-12th grade) meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Our first theme is “Relationships” (9/16, 10/7, 10/21). Sara Rosenau will be leading this theme.
Caffeine & Commitment
*2nd and 4th Mondays 3:30 p.m. at the Ike Box*
Senior High youth meet for Caffeine & Commitment twice per month. This is a youth-led event, but the youth leader attends to join in the discussion. This fall we’ll be using the Caffeine & Character book by UCC minister Steven Case.
