Welcome.
I’m Rev. Robin Lunn — pastor, writer, and community-builder in Salem, Oregon.

I serve Salem UCC, a progressive, justice-seeking congregation, and I spend my days at the intersection of faith, imagination, care, and public life.

I believe Christianity is at its best when it opens space for wonder.
For honest questions.
For courageous love.
For shared work toward a more compassionate world.

I'm glad you are here.
My Story
I was raised at First Congregational UCC in Camden, Maine, where I encountered God through the Sacred Dance troupe at that church. And while I draw my theological roots from the early Congregationalists and Baptists of New England, my theology has also been shaped by dance, music, Native American sweat circles, and a wide range of spiritual and religious practices; all of which have deepened my Christian faith and understanding.
I am a student of trauma-healing modalities, particularly Resonant Healing with Sarah Peyton. I have also been part of the Interplay community for 25 years.

I have served as a youth minister, settled pastor, church development consultant, Intentional Interim Minister, and Executive Director of the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists (AWAB). I hold a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School with a concentration in congregational transformation and worship.

I have served American Baptist and United Church of Christ congregations in New England, on Maui, and in Oregon. I have been at First Congregational UCC in Salem Since 2021 and, in 2024, I transitioned from being an Intentional Interim to Designated Term Pastor so we could continue our shared Resurrecting Church journey.

When I am not at the church, I love encountering the Spirit in the forests and beaches of Oregon.
I am blessed with two adult children who live in New England.
