On Monday, June 8 at 6:30pm, First Congregational Church UCC welcomes Reverend Dr. Alex Awad — a Palestinian Christian raised in Jerusalem who spent 26 years as a United Methodist missionary, including 21 years pastoring the East Jerusalem International Church.
In a world that has largely looked away from the Holy Land, Dr. Awad's witness is one we need to hear.
Rev. Dr. Elmarie Parker, former PC(USA) Regional Liaison for Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq, will interview Dr. Awad, followed by Q&A with the audience.
