De-Escalation training

Join First Congregational Church and Church at the Park for a FREE training to support your staff and volunteers as we seek to live the Gospel message of loving our neighbors as ourselves.

For many of us, it can be challenging to know how to interact with our unhoused neighbors, particularly when we are feeling threatened in some way. This training is an opportunity to learn from the pros and support one another as we seek to engage compassionately and safely.

This training is open to anyone from your congregation but will be geared to the volunteers and staff who have the most contact with our unhoused neighbors.
