This January, we will dive deep into the voices of the gospels, exploring the many faces of Jesus they reveal.

This week we explore the Gospel of Mark—the earliest and most urgent account of Jesus’ life. Mark’s Jesus speaks and acts as though time is short and everything is at stake. Together we’ll consider why this gospel feels unfinished, unsettling, and disruptive, and how its apocalyptic energy invites decisive faith rather than certainty. We’ll also practice listening to the text in a way that allows its urgency to work on us, not rush past us.
