This is Joy Sunday, when we light the rose-colored candle and celebrate God’s healing presence breaking through our weariness. Through the bright, delighted eyes of a 5-year-old, we embrace joy that surprises us, lifts us, and reminds us that God is still making all things new. We light the Candle of Joy as the desert blossoms and the world sings again.
